Champions Global Growth at ‘Empowering Global Expansion’ Qingdao Private Enterprises Exchange & Sharing Session

On December 20, 2024, our team attended the “Empowering Global Expansion: Qingdao Private Enterprises Go Global Exchange & Sharing Session,” hosted by the Qingdao Federation of Industry and Commerce and co-organized by the Qingdao Productivity Society in the Zhongke Qingdao R&D Park

Amid a backdrop of slowing global growth—projected at just 2.8 % for 2025 by the IMF—and rising trade tensions that have strained supply chains and raised recession risks, the forum addressed practical strategies for Chinese firms to navigate uncertainty

Beijing’s Politburo has meanwhile pledged targeted support for exporters through monetary easing and enhanced bond issuance to offset tariff pressures and sustain employment

The session convened over 70 enterprise leaders alongside Qingdao municipal and High-Tech Zone officials, including FIC Vice Chairman Zhou Xueyan and High-Tech Zone Deputy Director Wan Ning, to inaugurate the newly established Qingdao Development-oriented Enterprises International Empowerment Center

Guided by the Qingdao General Chamber of Commerce and the High-Tech Zone Administrative Committee, and operated by Zhongke Qingdao R&D Park, the Center pledges one-stop services spanning market research, policy interpretation, legal compliance, logistics & supply-chain management, digital transformation, financing, market expansion, and talent training

With an initial lineup of partners—U&I Group, Beijing Yingke Law Firm, GCI Global Intelligence Platform, and Qingdao Free Trade Global Logistics—the Center will also coordinate with six leading local chambers to build a collaborative ecosystem for overseas growth

Insights from the Session

Senior officials underscored that rigorous legal due diligence and innovative financial instruments are essential to safeguard cross-border ventures against policy and currency risks

Experts from U&I Group, Yingke Law Firm, and Qingdao Rural Commercial Bank presented case studies on export credit insurance, FX hedging, and compliance frameworks to equip participants with concrete risk-mitigation tools

Interactive panels and one-on-one consultations further explored product localization, supply-chain optimization, and AI-driven differentiation, illustrating how specialized manufacturing—from smart rebar processing to precision-engineered components—can secure competitive advantage in mature and emerging markets

Empowering Qingdao Enterprises

To extend its global reach, the Federation has built ties with over 60 overseas chambers and business associations, organized targeted roadshows across Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America, and launched a “Front-line Enterprise Assistance Action” to fast-track export procedures and green-channel policies for exporters

The session also highlighted Shinan District’s China–SCO Technology Transfer Center model, which has successfully facilitated inbound investments and outbound cooperation through regular “bring-in” and “go-out” activities, offering a blueprint for private firms to tap regional value chains

Armed with these insights and policy supports, our company will refine our rebar processing solutions by integrating robust compliance checks, deploying digital traceability tools, and leveraging tailored financing options to deliver precision-engineered products for global infrastructure projects

By aligning with Qingdao’s broader “empowerment through collaboration” strategy—reinforced by national-level economic guidance to bolster private-sector resilience—we are confident in navigating market uncertainties and delivering world-class steel-bar manufacturing services to our overseas partners

The Federation pledged to expand global marketing networks through ongoing partnerships with overseas chambers and business associations, emulating the newly formed Qingdao Cross-Border E-Commerce Alliance that covers key regions across five continents

Planned initiatives include launching digital trade pilot zones, organizing targeted overseas roadshows in Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America, and hosting specialized B2B matchmaking events aligned with the specialized and newstrategy

Our company, as a dedicated steel-bar processing and manufacturing service provider, will leverage these insights and policy supports to refine our market entry strategies, strengthen compliance and financial resilience, and deliver precision-engineered solutions to global construction and infrastructure projects.
